Program Related Investment Application Procedures

Application for a Wieboldt Foundation program-related investment is a four-step process:

  1. Submission of a pre-application form by the applicant. Pre-application forms are available from the foundation.
  2. Decision by the foundation, based on the pre-application, whether or not to request a full application.
  3. If a full application is requested, submission of the full application by the applicant.
  4. Review and decision by the foundation.

If a full application is requested, we will need the following information:

  1. Description of the project including analysis of need, goals, objectives, affected population, expected outcomes, and amount and terms requested.
  2. Business plan, if appropriate.
  3. Brief description of your organization.
  4. Board of directors.
  5. Current financial statement including balance sheet.
  6. Internal Revenue Service tax-exempt ruling letter.
  7. Repayment plan.
  8. Description of collateral, if appropriate.

PRI Deadlines

Pre-applications: Pre-application forms may be submitted at any time. Within two months of receipt of the pre-application, groups will be asked to submit a full application or will be notified that we will not be able to assist them.

Full applications: Full applications should be submitted within one month after notification to the applicant. The foundation expects to reply within two to three months following receipt of a full application that is complete with all requested information.
